Why Bruno Guimaraes could hold the key in Arsenal signing Endrick

Arsenal’s pursuit of new signings looks set to go down to the wire once again as Mikel Arteta seeks more new faces for his squad.
In a summer which has already seen the arrivals of Bruno Guimaraes and Christos Tzolis, Arteta is still keen on bolstering his squad further.
A key position for the Gunners boss is out wide, where the exit of Gabriel Martinelli to Saudi Arabia has left a hole in the squad that needs filling.
As we all know, Julian Alvarez remains a top target but reports are also suggesting that Brazil’s Endrick could be a loan signing too.
Indeed, when we look at Endrick’s possible arrival, it could be fellow new boy Bruno Guimaraes who holds the key to his signing.
Bruno Guimaraes could help influence Arsenal’s pursuit of Endrick
Guimaraes might be the new man in town at The Emirates but when it comes to influence at international level, he is held in high regard.
In fact, when it comes to Endrick, the new Arsenal midfielder is a respected voice.
When Endrick opted to join Lyon on loan in January this year, it was Bruno who the Brazilian youngster sought advice from on how things were at the French club.
Clearly, then, Bruno is a player who Endrick who looks up to and that relationship might now help Arsenal complete a similar sort of deal to which Lyon did.

Of course, Endrick’s arrival would bolster the numbers in the Arsenal squad but there would be question marks over whether he genuinely improves things.
Clearly, he is an exciting talent and having played out wide on both sides for both Lyon and Real Madrid, he represents an interesting option for the Gunners.
If anything, he is a player who gets fans off their seats and sometimes, that can be a huge positive for a team.
