Arsenal one of the clubs interested in Eintracht Frankfurt star

Arsenal have been named as one of the clubs interested in a move for Jean Matteo Bahoya, and they could seal a late deal for him as they look to replace Gabriel Martinelli.

The Brazilian is in talks with Al Hilal to join them this summer, and his departure would open space for the Gunners to add another attacker to their squad. Arsenal have not named Martinelli in their squad this campaign, and Christos Tzolis would be the only left winger in their team when he leaves.

Arsenal consider Bahoya for left wing

Although Eberechi Eze can play in that role, the Gunners would rather have a naturally wide player competing there for them this campaign. They see Bahoya as an ideal candidate for the position and believe he could do well in their team.

Arsenal are therefore looking at the possibility of making a late move for the attacker as they prepare for the potential departure of Martinelli. Adding another wide player would give the Gunners greater depth and competition on the left side.

However, Arsenal are not alone in their interest, and another major European club could make the move more difficult. The final days of the transfer window could therefore become important for Bahoya’s future.

AC Milan join Bahoya race

Arsenal will have to compete with AC Milan for his signature because Football Italia reports that the Italians want him to replace Rafa Leao.

The Portuguese star is on his way out of the club and will leave before the window closes, so Milan have lined up a move for Bahoya as his replacement. This will put them in direct competition with Arsenal as both clubs look to strengthen their attack.

For Arsenal, the situation could depend on whether Martinelli completes his move to Al Hilal. If the Brazilian leaves, the Gunners will need another option to provide natural width on the left, particularly with Tzolis currently the only recognised left winger in the squad.

Bahoya could therefore become an important target during the final days of the window. Arsenal believe he can make an impact, but Milan’s interest gives the attacker another attractive option.

With the transfer window entering its final days, Arsenal will need to move quickly if they want to secure his signature. Milan are also preparing for a major change in their attack, making this a potentially competitive battle for Bahoya.
