Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard scored the goals to win Arsenal the game, but Gabriel Magalhaes quietly made club history at the back.

Arsenal signed Gabriel from Lille in the summer of 2020.
The Brazil international has played most games for the Gunners at the back, and he has had a lot of success against many big teams.
However, Chelsea may just be his favourite club to face.
That’s because Gabriel has never lost a game against the Blues in his entire Arsenal career, and his run puts him in the record books.

The win today helped Gabriel leapfrog Sylvain Wiltord to the top of the list, but another Arsenal player is not too far behind.
Goalscorer and captain Odegaard is now unbeaten in 11 games against Chelsea and is now tied with Wiltord in second place on that list.
Other current Arsenal players who enjoy similar unbeaten success against the West Londoners are Declan Rice (9), Ben White (8) and William Saliba (8).
Arsenal vs Chelsea has become a one-sided affair
Arsenal have become so dominant against Chelsea under Mikel Arteta.
The champions haven’t lost a game against the Blues since August 2021 – over five years ago – and that run may not end anytime soon.
Everyone raved about Chelsea’s incredible attack and how they could destroy Arsenal. But they only registered an xG of 0.36 and scored a scrappy goal.
