The big winner from Arsenal selling Gabriel Jesus and Martinelli is obvious, Arteta must play him

Arsenal are keeping themselves busy in the final few days of the transfer window but as of right now, it’s more outgoings than incomings.
The Gunners are set to confirm the departures of Brazilian duo Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus.
As yet, though, Arsenal are yet to bring in anyone to replace either player and with potential target Iliman Ndiaye going to Tottenham, time is running out.
Arsenal also hope to convince Julian Alvarez to join, albeit a deal seems unlikely.
However, while new signings might feel imperative, there is one man in the current squad who could benefit massively from this mini fire-sale. And that man, is Ethan Nwaneri.
Ethan Nwaneri has to make the most of Jesus and Martinelli being sold
There’s been a lot of talk about Ethan Nwaneri this summer and he does still have interest from abroad as the window approaches its close.
However, surely the departures of Martinelli and Jesus have now opened a door for the teenager?
With both Martinelli and Jesus often used out wide by Mikel Arteta, it now leaves a gap of not only one, but two places in the squad for Nwaneri to compete for.
Yes, he probably knows that Bukayo Saka and Christos Tzolis are first-choice out wide for now.

However, there is a real opportunity here for Nwaneri to dedicate himself to becoming more accustomed to playing out wide. As with any young player, it’s about taking an opportunity and for Nwaneri, opportunities like this won’t come along too often.
Furthermore, Arsenal’s apparent struggle to bring in another left-sided player means that there could be a golden chance for someone to step up.
As it stands, Nwaneri has to make sure he is that man. If we were him, we’d be knocking on Mikel Arteta’s door and telling him he doesn’t need a new player and put simply, he is the man for him.
