FA Cup draw: Second qualifying round matches in full as non-League teams learn fate

FA Cup draw: Second qualifying round matches in full as non-League teams learn fate

Welcome to football.london's live coverage of the FA Cup second round qualifying draw, which is set to take place on Monday afternoon.

The first round qualifying ties took place from Friday to Sunday, contested entirely by non‑league clubs from across the English football pyramid - specifically teams from Steps 2 to 6 of the National League system. A total of 122 ties were scheduled in the first round qualifying, with 55 of them ending level and requiring replays.

The second round qualifying stage now brings together the winners from the weekend along with a fresh batch of clubs entering at this level. With ties spread across the country, this round often produces some of the FA Cup's most compelling early‑stage storylines: giant‑killings and dramatic late winners.

However, no higher‑division teams enter at this stage. The second round qualifying remains exclusively for non‑league clubs, with National League Premier sides not joining until the fourth round qualifying.

Today's draw will map out the next set of fixtures, determine who faces long away trips, who gets the advantage of home turf, and which clubs will be eyeing a realistic route into the third round qualifying and beyond.
