Vivienne Lia signs for Frankfurt

Arsenal winger Vivienne Lia has signed for Frankfurt on a permanent transfer, signing a contract until 2030. Lia has spent the last five seasons with the Gunners and had loan spells at Southampton, Nottingham Forest and Hammarby.

Lia made her first-team debut in a League Cup quarter-final victory over London City Lionesses in February 2024. Her loan spell at Hammarby was cut short due to the U20 World Cup in September though it appears Viv will stay with Frankfurt instead.

We expect further departures of academy players prior to the end of the transfer window.
