Arsenal fans all make the same joke about Vinicius Jr after seeing what just happened

Vinicius Jr was Arsenal’s biggest transfer target this summer.
The Real Madrid superstar is one of the biggest names in world football, and the fact that the Gunners were even in the conversation to sign him showed massive ambition.
In the end, Los Blancos improved their offer and convinced Vinicius to stay, and Arsenal are still without a marquee signing in attack.
However, Gooners are in great spirits after beating Manchester City and Coventry in their first two games, and that has led to a few jokes about Vinicius after he decided against moving to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal fans joke Vinicius Jr snubbed them because of Christos Tzolis
Christos Tzolis has been one of Arsenal’s best players since he joined the club.
The Greek winger has impressed in every game so far, especially in the wins against Manchester City in the Community Shield and Coventry in the Premier League opener.
Arsenal fans are blown away by Tzolis, so much so that they are joking that Vinicius snubbed them because of the former Club Brugge man.
One fan tweeted: “Christos Tzolis is the reason why Vinicius refused to join Arsenal. He would definitely get benched for the assist king to shine.”

Another wrote: “Vini Jr stayed at Madrid because he knew Tzolis would bench him.”
“Let’s be honest. Vinicius Jr knew he wouldn’t get in the team ahead of Tzolis,” said another.
Another Gooner posted: “Vinicius Jr ducked Arsenal as he didn’t want to be second choice LW behind Christos Tzolis.”
“Heard Vinicius panicked at the last moment after watching Tzolis in pre-season and decided to extend,” joked another.
Christos Tzolis may have changed Arsenal’s transfer plans
Arsenal would’ve known that Tzolis is a brilliant player, but we think many at the club are pleasantly surprised by how good he has been.
The 24-year-old hasn’t put a foot wrong in the famous red and white, and fans are already in love with him.
That could well be the reason why Arsenal are not being heavily linked with another left-wing signing. Their focus appears to be on Julian Alvarez, who plays more centrally.
If Arsenal decide against signing another left winger now, it would be a huge show of faith in Tzolis. We think he has earned it.
