Ian Wright claims Arsenal have made the best signing of the summer and it’s not Bruno Guimaraes

Arsenal’s transfer business is continuing as we approach kick-off for the new season and Ian Wright believes the Gunners have made the signing of the summer.
Mikel Arteta has added quality and depth to his squad with the arrivals of Illan Meslier, Bruno Guimaraes and Christos Tzolis.
Ezri Konsa is also expected to sign for the Gunners and there’s a feeling that Andrea Berta is not done just yet either.
Of course, the biggest signing of the summer is that of Guimaraes.
However, according to Ian Wright, it’s another of Arsenal’s new boys who stands out as the Premier League’s best new arrival.
Ian Wright names Christos Tzolis as the Premier League’s best new signing
While a lot of eyes were on Guimaraes in the Community Shield season opener, it was the performance of new winger Christos Tzolis that caught attention.
Tzolis was outstanding down the left and produced two assists on debut to show he’s very much going to be a key part of Arsenal’s team this season.
And when asked to name the best signing across the entire league this summer, Ian Wright went with Tzolis.
Interestingly, Gary Neville went with Guimaraes as his top signing, while the other members of the panel went for a wide range of names.
Former Arsenal target Sandro Tonali was picked by a few, while Man United’s new midfielder Youri Tielemans also got a shoutout.

As for Tzolis, he will be hoping to make an instant impact when Arsenal host Coventry City in the season opener tonight.
And on the evidence of his debut against Man City, the Sky Blues’ defence could be in for quite the rough ride at The Emirates.
