Just what Arsenal fans needed to hear: Havertz makes ambitious claim

Kai Havertz has declared that Arsenal are hungry for more success after winning the Premier League last season.
The Gunners ended their 22-year wait for the top-flight title, finishing seven points clear of second-placed Manchester City.
Asked during an interview with Sky Sports what it would mean for Arsenal to win back-to-back league titles, Havertz said they are not only ready to win the top flight again but also lift more trophies.
“Yes, it would mean a lot. That is what we are all here for. When you have a taste of one, you want to do it again, and I think we now have a team that can compete for every possible title. Last year, it was one, but this year, I think there is a lot to come.
“We want to win everything, and still, it is a long way to go. For us, it’s just to focus, like, every week on the next game. I think you know, as a footballer, it is always hard. You want to look ahead and see what is coming, but at the moment, it is just game by game, get as many points as possible.”
Arsenal began their title defence on August 21, producing a brilliant display to beat newly promoted Coventry City 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
Havertz opened the scoring, netting his fourth goal in his last four starts for the north London giants — the first time he has achieved the feat since moving to England.
He will be hoping to extend that streak when Mikel Arteta’s side face Aston Villa at Villa Park on Monday.
The 27-year-old missed a large chunk of last season due to injury. He featured in just 24 games across all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing five assists.
Despite spending a long spell on the sidelines, Havertz has been able to usurp Viktor Gyokeres as Arsenal’s first-choice striker.
