Confirmed: Louie Copley allocated number 47 shirt after 39 was given to Bruno Guimaraes

Arsenal have confirmed on their official website that Louie Copley has been allocated the number 47 shirt.
Copley was initially given number 39 for this season but that squad number was subsequently given to first-team signing Bruno Guimaraes.
Guimaraes has worn number 39 throughout his career as it was the number of his father’s taxi in Brazil.
Number 47 was free as it had been kept in case Alex Marciniak accepted Arsenal’s offer of a professional contract but he joined Cracovia instead.
Copley is set to miss the majority of the season after rupturing his ACL during the first-team friendly against Real Betis.
The 19-year-old confirmed on Instagram today that he has undergone successful surgery.
Copley is usually a midfielder but filled in at right-back during pre-season. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Crawley Town.
