Mikel Arteta says Arsenal did two things vs Coventry City that he was simply not happy about

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was very pleased with his side’s performance against Coventry City.
As defending Premier League champions on the opening day of the new season, there was pressure to deliver, and the Gunners did just that.
Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard all scored to give Arsenal a convincing 3-0 win, and every fan was delighted with the result.
Arteta was thrilled too, but the perfectionist in him noticed two issues.
Mikel Arteta pinpoints two areas of improvement for Arsenal after beating Coventry City
Arsenal played like champions against Coventry City.
The Gunners were the better side with and without the ball, and they completely deserved the win. If anything, they should’ve scored more goals.
However, Mikel Arteta spotted a drop-off in the second half, after Odegaard increased Arsenal’s lead to three goals.
The Spaniard claimed that his side got the timing of their actions wrong, and their compactness without the ball was not to his liking either.

Arteta wants his side to improve on those fronts immediately.
He said on Sky Sports: “We have to improve in every phase.
“Today (Friday), there were some very good moments, but there were some moments in the second half after the third goal that I wasn’t too happy about: the timing and the compactness of the team at times.
“We need to keep improving.”
Mikel Arteta’s mentality is the driving force behind Arsenal
Arteta’s comments above show just how much of a perfectionist he is.
Even after a phenomenal performance to kickstart his Premier League title defence, the Arsenal manager is always looking for ways to improve his side.
That is why the Gunners are one of the best clubs in the world right now and almost unrecognisable if you compare them to when Arteta first took charge.
Everyone at the club deserves praise for the work they have done over the years, but Arteta and his mentality have been the driving force behind everything good that has happened.
