Insiders at Arsenal think one player is going to absolutely explode this season

The new Premier League season begins today, and Arsenal fans are beyond excited.
The Gunners are heading into the new campaign as the defending champions after bringing an end to their 22-year title drought last term.
The confidence around the Emirates Stadium was already sky-high, and that went up a level following the dominant 3-0 win against Manchester City in the Community Shield.
People inside the club are incredibly confident too, and some of them have high hopes for one particular player: Martin Odegaard.
Arsenal insiders think Martin Odegaard will have a huge season
When he’s fit and firing, Odegaard is one of the best attacking midfielders on the planet.
The Norway international wasn’t at his usual level over the last two seasons because of a number of different injury issues.
Even though none of them were particularly major, the Arsenal captain couldn’t get the continuity that was needed for him to perform at his best.
Arsenal fans are hoping that will change, and early signs have been extremely positive.
In the pre-season friendlies he took part in and the Community Shield, Odegaard looked a lot like his usual self and was incredible.

He was by far the best player on the pitch against Manchester City, and he will be key for Arsenal in the upcoming campaign.
The Daily Mail have claimed that people inside the club believe Odegaard will explode this season.
The outlet writes: “Insiders are expecting a big season from the Norwegian. They believe he can and will be a major driving force for the Arsenal midfield, and are expecting an uptick in goal involvements from him – see his sublime finish against City at the weekend.
“Having Odegaard back fully fit and, crucially, with confidence has created excitement at Arsenal.”
Even Mikel Arteta claimed recently that he senses something different about Odegaard ahead of the start of the new season.
That is exactly what Arsenal need from their skipper. If he has an incredible season, the Gunners should comfortably retain their Premier League title.
