Mikel Arteta has had an eye on Konsa for quite some time, and when he reached out to his contacts for some more information about the player, the response was ‘resounding’.

That’s according to Football London, who have revealed that people in the game think Konsa has been ‘criminally underrated’ for a long time now.

The defender’s ability to play as a centre-half as well as at right-back, combined with his experience in the Premier League, makes him a great fit at Arsenal.

With William Saliba out injured for the foreseeable future, Konsa could have a big role to play in the coming months.
