Unai Emery could now sign 'amazing' Arsenal player and then immediately change his position

Arsenal have a lot of work to do with respect to outgoings this summer.
Player sales have always been a major weakness for the Premier League champions, and that trend seems to be continuing.
Andrea Berta has only managed to sell Leandro Trossard and Christian Norgaard so far, but the futures of several other players lie elsewhere.
One such player is Gabriel Martinelli.
Unai Emery could try to sign Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli for Aston Villa
There is a very high chance that Arsenal could sell Martinelli before the transfer window shuts.
The ‘amazing‘ Brazilian, along with Gabriel Jesus and Ethan Nwaneri, was left out of the Community Shield squad against Manchester City, which shows he is surplus to requirements.
That should open the door for the former Ituano man to leave the club, especially as the Gunners are looking to sign another left winger.
Just last year, Aston Villa were linked with a move to sign Martinelli, and we have a feeling they could come back in the coming weeks.

That’s because Ollie Watkins is said to be keen on a move to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.
Fabrizio Romano has revealed on X that Villa are already looking at potential replacements, and Martinelli makes a lot of sense.
Yes, he has mostly played as a left-winger in his career, but under Unai Emery at Arsenal, he was used as a striker and was exceptional.
For that reason, we won’t be surprised at all if the Villa boss signs him and immediately makes him his new striker before the window shuts.
Gabriel Martinelli’s stats as a striker under Unai Emery
When Martinelli first joined Arsenal, he was a striker.
The Brazilian had made a name for himself in Ituano as a centre-forward, and Emery saw enough in training to give him opportunities in that role.
That worked brilliantly.
Under Emery, Martinelli started six games as a striker and scored seven goals, including braces against Nottingham Forest, Standard Liege, and most impressively, against Liverpool at Anfield.
Arsenal fans have always felt that Martinelli is destined to be a striker. Emery could make it happen if he signs him this summer.
