Christos Tzolis says he's really surprised that two Arsenal stars are 'so close'
Christos Tzolis is loving life at Arsenal since he joined the club.
Mikel Arteta signed the Greek international from Club Brugge this summer after he was voted the best player in Belgium last season.
Tzolis has started really well in the famous red and white, with his performances against Manchester City and Coventry catching everyone’s eye.
He is settling in well with his teammates too, where he has spotted a surprising bond between two players.

Arteta has created a family atmosphere at Arsenal.
The players all love each other, and we have seen many of them spend time together off the pitch as well, in their free time.
Two such players are Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz.
Usually, players who fight for the same position on the pitch aren’t best of friends off it, but things are different at Arsenal.
Havertz and Gyokeres are the perfect example.
The two forwards are really close to each other and were even seen spending their holiday together after the World Cup.
That was not something Christos Tzolis expected when he walked through the doors this summer.
During a Reddit AMA, the new Arsenal signing was asked to name the ‘most unlikely bromance’ he has seen since joining the Gunners.
He replied: “I think Kai and Viktor. They are very close.
“That’s nice to see because they play in the same position. Both are very good guys, and they are good friends.
“Also, Viktor has only been here for one year, and Kai has been here for more years. So I didn’t expect that they were going to be so close when I signed here.”
Viktor Gyokeres has a point to prove at Arsenal
Arsenal signed Gyokeres to solve their striker issues in the summer of 2025.
Even though the Swede scored over 20 goals in his debut season, many feel he hasn’t solved the problems they had before.
Arteta must feel the same way too, and his decision not to give Gyokeres a minute of football in the first two Premier League games proves that.
That must light a fire in Gyokeres. Despite his close bond with Havertz, he has a point to prove to Arteta and everyone else that he should be Arsenal’s starting striker.
That can only be a good thing, as it would push Havertz to be better too.
