When will Arsenal’s England youths play over the break?

Arsenal originally had eight players called up for the England youth teams, between the u17 and u21 age groups, but there have been some developments since then.

Most significantly, Marli Salmon has pulled out of the England u18s with an injury. But it’s also worth mentioning that following the various withdrawals from the England senior squad, there’s talk of Max Dowman training with the first team.

For the time being, Dowman remains with the England u19s along with Ife Ibrahim. Tommy Setford and Ethan Nwaneri have been called up by the u21s, and Mylo Bernard, Vincent Joseph, and Charlie Phillips are in the u17 squad.

Arsenal signed Bernard and Joseph over the summer, and it’s a clear sign of the high regard in which the two forwards are held that they’re both England regulars.

The England u21s are set to play u21 European Championship qualifiers over the break, whilst the u19s are playing a batch of friendlies. The u17s kick things off with a friendly match, before playing a three-game tournament in Germany.
