Transfer news LIVE: Arsenal 'make shock Haaland move'; Man Utd done deal; Chelsea, Liverpool latest

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham are all still pushing hard for new signings after the summer window as they each make big plans for January. Arsenal are sensationally reported to have made contact over a blockbuster move for Erling Haaland following the Manchester City verdict, having also been linked with the likes of Eli Junior Kroupi, Dani Olmo and Ibrahim Maza as they continue to target Julian Alvarez.

Manchester United are said to be lining up a fresh bid for Alejandro Balde having now signed Isaac Konde and may rival Arsenal for Kevin Schade. Mezian Mesloub could be the replacement for JJ Gabriel, while Chelsea could be eyeing a swoop for Tyrick Mitchell at Crystal Palace as Barcelona weigh up an offer for a frustrated Estevao. Liverpool are rumoured to be pondering a shock return to Anfield for Trent Alexander-Arnold, with Lamine Camara potentially set to become their first signing under new sporting director Julian Ward.

Tottenham could fight rivals Arsenal for Maza, amid new claims that Manchester United and Liverpool are both keeping a close eye on Spurs captain Micky van de Ven. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Barcelona are said to be keeping tabs on Estevao as he struggles for minutes under Xabi Alonso.

The young Brazilian has managed just 23 minutes on the pitch across Chelsea’s first five Premier League matches, with the Spanish press reporting Barcelona are prepared to take advantage of his situation.

Per the newspaper Sport, they are closely monitoring developments in his situation.

Arsenal have sent scouts to keep an eye on Porto’s Alberto Costa, per reports from Caught Offside.

They join a number of clubs, including Manchester United, in scouting the 22-year-old, signed from Juventus for €15m (£12.8m) last year. His contract contains a €65m (£55.7m) release clause.

Arsenal’s interest, though, is at a very nascent stage, which has not progressed beyond scouting. Meanwhile, the player, tipped as a replacement for Riccardo Calafiori, is playing regularly for Porto.

Manchester United have reportedly identified their replacement for JJ Gabriel.

The Red Devils are fighting to keep hold of their 15-year-old sensation, who rocked the club earlier this week when he requested to leave Old Trafford with immediate effect, just days before he was likely to make his senior debut in the Carabao Cup.

Though United still want to retain the services of Gabriel, they could struggle as he has interest from a host of clubs across Europe, including Real Madrid.

According to The Sun, they are looking at Lens teenager Mezian Mesloub as a possible replacement.

Manchester United have continued to bolster their academy ranks with the signing of Isaac Konde.

The 16-year-old winger has penned an initial scholarship deal at Old Trafford after leaving rivals Liverpool, where he had played since Under-9s level and who will be due compensation.

It was reported last week that Konde had agreed pre-contract terms with United on a five-year professional deal that will become active when he turns 17.

He is the third new signing at youth level for United in the last few days, following the arrivals of midfielders Karim Cassim and David Eze from Manchester City.

Arsenal and Tottenham could battle it out for the signing of Ibrahim Maza.

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is shining for both Bayer Leverkusen and Algeria, attracting admiring glances from the Premier League.

According to TEAMtalk, Arsenal and Spurs have both stepped up their respective interest in Maza after scouting the player this season and assessing the feasibility of a move.

Chelsea, Manchester City and Aston Villa are also said to be watching his progress closely.

Chelsea may face a battle to keep hold of Estevao.

The Brazilian sensation has played only a bit-part role at Stamford Bridge so far under new boss Xabi Alonso, with his only starts this season coming in the Carabao Cup.

There have been several reports of Estevao’s growing frustration with his lack of playing time at Chelsea, with Barcelona now said to be keeping a very close eye on the situation.

Could we see Trent Alexander-Arnold make a sensational return to Liverpool?

It was only last summer that Trent departed Anfield for Real Madrid in a high-profile free transfer, which notably soured his reputation among some Reds fans.

However, TEAMtalk are now reporting that Liverpool are among the clubs interested in Alexander-Arnold, who faces a fierce battle for starts under Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are also said to be keen on the 27-year-old, who is said to be focused on Madrid for now and not considering a January exit from the Bernabeu.

Chelsea are reportedly among the clubs keen on signing Crystal Palace left-back Tyrick Mitchell.

Mitchell has started the new Premier League season in good form and scored twice for the Eagles in their 3-2 win over Fulham last month.

According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea see the 27-year-old as a cost-effective addition in defence, with Palace said to be seeking around £25m for a player who has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Selhurst Park.

Manchester United and Liverpool are also said to want Mitchell.

Manchester United may launch a fresh move for Alejandro Balde during the January transfer window.

The Spain international, along with Newcastle’s Lewis Hall, was said to be among Michael Carrick’s top targets at left-back during the latter stages of the summer amid a lack of regular starts for Barcelona under Hansi Flick.

Balde ended up staying put at the Camp Nou in the end, but Mundo Deportivo claim that his continued peripheral role for Barca could lead him to re-assess his options in the New Year.

Man Utd could take advantage as they continue to seek a long-term successor to Luke Shaw at Old Trafford.

How about this for a sensational transfer report to begin your week?

The future of several Manchester City stars - Erling Haaland in particular - has become a hot topic since reports first emerged on Friday that the club had been found guilty by an independent commission on all but one of their 114 Premier League charges for alleged breaches of financial rules between 2009 and 2018.

City - who strongly deny all the charges against them - are understood to be set to appeal the decision and this process could continue to go on for some time to come.

According to Football Insider, title rivals Arsenal have already made contact with Haaland’s representatives in case he becomes available, with City facing a range of potentially severe sanctions if their appeal is unsuccessful, including possible relegation or expulsion from the Premier League.

Real Madrid are also reported to be eyeing a move for the Norwegian striker.
