Thomas Tuchel may have just leaked Mikel Arteta’s secret before Brighton vs Arsenal

Mikel Arteta always keeps things close to his chest ahead of games.

Arsenal take on Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday, and the Spaniard will want to win that game to maintain his side’s great start to the season.

The Gunners will match a 123-year-old record if they beat the Seagulls, as it would mean they have started the season with eight consecutive victories.

Arteta will not want any leaks about his team news, but Thomas Tuchel may have just done exactly that.

Thomas Tuchel may have just given away Mikel Arteta’s Ben White secret

Ben White has had a great start to the new season at Arsenal.

The Englishman has recreated his partnership with Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard on the right flank, and the trio have been among the best players in the Premier League so far.

However, White suffered an injury during the game against Sunderland and missed the Carabao Cup clash against Ipswich Town.

Mikel Arteta is usually very coy with his team news in pre-match conferences, but surprisingly, earlier today, he announced that White is fit.

“Ben is all good. We have another training session this afternoon, so very positive about everybody.”

However, just moments later, Tuchel publicly announced that White is actually not fit and has pulled out of the England squad due to injury.

“Ben White pulled out with an injury after a fantastic start to the season with Arsenal. He’s not available now – which has been the story with Ben,” he said, as per The Sun.

There could easily be some miscommunication between Arsenal and England here. Or Arteta must have been playing mind games with Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler by suggesting White is fit when he actually isn’t.

If the latter is indeed the case, Tuchel has just leaked Arteta’s secret. We’re sure the Arsenal boss will not be too happy about that just a day before the game at the Amex.
