Theo Julienne makes senior debut, Ibrahim and Salmon feature, Dowman scores twice as Arsenal beat Ipswich

Theo Julienne made his competitive senior debut as Arsenal beat Ipswich Town 4-2 away in the Carabao Cup third round tonight.

Julienne was brought on at right-back in the 64th minute while Ife Ibrahim entered the fray in the 85th minute for his second senior appearance.

Max Dowman, who was deployed in midfield, played the whole game and scored two impressive goals, with Marli Salmon giving a good account of himself at centre-back.

There was another Arsenal academy connection as Chuba Akpom came on for Ipswich and found the net late on.
