Arsenal are keen on yet another exciting attacking addition if they can pull it off, this time in the form of Maximilian Beier.
The Gunners are big fans of Beier and have been watching the German star closely in recent months.
With Arsenal building a relationship of sorts with Dortmund thanks to their loan move for Ethan Nwaneri, the club has an eye on the Bundesliga side’s own best talents.
Indeed, when it comes to the scouting of Beier, there is said to be a key metric behind Arsenal’s interest.
Arsenal feel Max Beier can be another Kai Havertz
We all know about Arsenal’s hunt for a new forward and Beier isn’t a brand new name in the mix either.
The German striker has been on Arsenal’s radar for some time now and while a move hasn’t advanced, the scouting has ramped up a touch on him.
Indeed, according to TeamTalk, Arsenal have been hugely impressed by Beier and there is a feeling that he is very much a ‘clone’ of Kai Havertz.
The Gunners scouting team are said to be impressed by Beier’s ability to lead the line and link play but without necessarily playing as a direct number nine.
Of course, this is just how Havertz plays for the Gunners right now.

The interest in Beier could be another nail in the coffin for Viktor Gyokeres though.
The Swedish striker has barely had a look-in this season and looked off the pace in the recent win at Ipswich in the EFL Cup.
