Report – Arsenal eyes move for Norway star

Arsenal are constantly looking for players who can improve their squad, and RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa has emerged as their latest target.

The Norwegian is regarded as one of the most exciting wingers of his generation and has continued to impress in the Bundesliga. Leipzig know they have a top player on their hands, but they also understand that several leading European clubs are monitoring his progress.

Nusa was expected to move to the Premier League during the last transfer window, but a deal did not materialise. Arsenal could now push for his signature in January or next summer.

Arsenal Target Nusa

Fussball News claims Arsenal are the latest club to show interest in Nusa after signing only Christos Tzolis for their left wing during the summer.

The Gunners sold Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, meaning they may have expected to bring in more than one winger. However, only Tzolis arrived, and Arsenal could now look to strengthen that area when the transfer window reopens.

Arsenal are reportedly considering an opening offer worth around €40 million for Nusa. However, Leipzig value the 21-year-old at between €60 million and €65 million, and his contract runs until 2029, giving the German club a strong negotiating position.

Competition for Nusa

Arsenal are not the only club interested in Nusa, and any move will be far from straightforward. Tottenham Hotspur are also among the leading contenders, while Newcastle United and Aston Villa are monitoring his situation.

Interest extends beyond England, with Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and several Serie A clubs also following the Norwegian. Leipzig have no intention of selling him in January, and Nusa himself is not pushing for a transfer.

Nusa has made a strong start to the season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in six appearances. His form has only increased interest in his services, and Arsenal will need to improve their offer significantly if they want to secure his signature.
