Real Madrid not making it easy for Arsenal to sign Serie A star

Nico Paz joined Como on a permanent deal during the summer after Real Madrid bought him back following his initial season with the Italian club. That arrangement has created a possible pathway for the midfielder to move to Arsenal.
The Gunners have been monitoring the Argentinian for the past year as he has impressed at Como. He has helped lead the club into the Champions League this season against the odds, underlining his importance to the team.
Como know they have an outstanding player in their squad, but they are not an elite club and recognise that they could eventually lose him to a bigger side. For now, they are focused on enjoying Paz’s performances, while Arsenal hope to become his next destination.
However, Paz could still return to Real Madrid. Team Talk reports that, despite selling him permanently, the Spanish giants retained a larger buy-back clause that they can activate to sign him again.
Madrid Could Recall Paz
If Arsenal make a serious approach, there is a possibility that Madrid could decide they need Paz and trigger the clause to bring him back to the Bernabeu. That scenario would concern the Gunners, who have been following the midfielder’s progress closely.
Real Madrid’s option gives them considerable control over Paz’s future. The Spanish club could prevent Arsenal from signing him directly by exercising the clause, although the player’s preference would still play an important role.
Paz has continued to develop in Italy and may now attract increasing interest from leading European clubs. His influence at Como has made him a valuable asset, while his previous connection with Madrid ensures that his future remains complicated.

Arsenal Must Convince Paz
Arsenal may still have an opportunity to sign Paz if they present a clear pathway for his development and regular playing time. The midfielder would need to believe that moving to the Emirates would benefit his career.
Ultimately, Paz will have the final say over his destination. If Arsenal can offer him an important role and demonstrate that he would continue to play regularly, he may prefer a move to north London over a return to Madrid.
The Gunners must therefore prepare a convincing proposal while monitoring the buy-back clause. Como’s position and Madrid’s contractual rights will matter, but Paz’s decision could determine where he plays next.
