Player ratings: Sunderland 0-2 Arsenal

Arsenal secured a huge win on Saturday night following a series of challenging decisions from the officials against them.
Arsenal controlled the first half but Bukayo Saka failed to take the big chance and Kai Havertz also scuffed at a good chance.
In the second half the officials seemed determined to go against Arsenal, booking Mikel Arteta, overturning throw ins (when failing to do so for the same offence against them) and giving quite a scandulous penalty against them.
Arsenal were not deterred though and decided to take matters into their own hands. Bruno Guimaeres, the former Newcastle man, on at half time, stepped forward to score an absolute worldie, a couple of minutes after David Raya made a huge penalty save.
In the dying moments, Arsenal added the gloss – Bruno finding Bukayo who was pulled down. Saka then converted from the spot to make it 2 – GAME OVER.

Huge shoutouts to two of our summer signings. Bruno Guimarães and Ezri Konsa.
