The extended international break means that Arsenal still have a bit longer to wait until they are back in Premier League action. It also gives them time to dwell on the 3-0 defeat against Brighton in their last outing.
But eyes will now start turning to the next game, which is just under two weeks away. The Gunners will look to get back to winning ways when they host Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, 10 October.
While Mikel Arteta will be working with the members of squad who remain at the training ground over the break, he will also be keeping a close eye on how those on international duty are getting on. Fingers will be crossed for no more injuries.
Arsenal have been handed one worry with Kai Havertz returning from duty with Germany. They have now been handed a second worry over key midfielder Martin Odegaard.
With that in mind, here’s a look at the latest from the treatment room at Arsenal.
The Arsenal captain was on the end of a strong tackle by former Man City man Bernardo Silva during Norway’s Nations League clash vs Portugal.
What has been said: "I hope not," the midfielder told Norwegian TV when asked if the injury would keep him out of action. "But I got a knock on my ankle there, so it probably won't be good tonight."
Potential return date: Vs Leeds (H), Saturday, 10 October
The forward was forced off in the first half of Germany’s Nations League clash with the Netherlands last week. He has since returned to Arsenal.
What has been said: "Kai suffered a muscle strain yesterday and had to be substituted in the 30th minute," a statement said from the Germany national team.

The defender missed the game against Brighton before the international break and was not included in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad.
What has been said: "Ben pulled out with an injury, he had a fantastic start to the season and was back to his very best on the side as a pair with Bukayo Saka which could be very valuable for us to have two payers on the side," Tuchel said.
"But unfortunately he wasn't available for the World Cup and is not available now. It is unfortunately a little bit of a story with Ben that in the decisive moments or in the moments where we do the call-ups he is not available."
Possible return date: Vs Leeds (H), Saturday, 10 October
The defender has missed the last three Premier League games with the injury, but, speaking before the game, Arteta has suggested that he could be closing in on a return.
What has been said: "Yes, we have another session; they are all willing to be part of it. "We have another session to try to make sure they are fit."

The Frenchman suffered a back injury during this summer's World Cup and is yet to make a return to action.
What has been said: "We don’t really know the amount of weeks Wilo is going to be out because it’s about a healing process and everything is a bit different - we know we have to respect certain timings. The progression has been really positive in the last few weeks, but we need to wait and see how that one reacts when we start to put some load into it."
