Norway boss issues injury update on Martin Odegaard after Bernardo Silva incident

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is yet to train since injuring his ankle
Stale Solbakken has confirmed Norway's medical staff are in contact with Arsenal regarding Martin Odegaard after he was hurt following a late challenge from Bernardo Silva.
In the closing stages of Sunday's 2-1 Nations League defeat, the former Manchester City player left his mark on the furious Arsenal captain, prompting fierce backlash.
Odegaard was then spotted limping back onto Norway's team bus and Solbakken insists information on his skipper's condition has already been shared with his club.
He told Norwegian newspaper Nettavisen: "Now we have to see [whether he can play] but he hasn't been sent home.
"The medical sector is reporting what has happened, and now it's like every metre you run here, and all the training and everything you've done, is sent to the club.
"It's standard procedure for that. I'm not going to interfere with that, there are four or five people employed for that, so they have to manage it."
Odegaard was no present alongside his team-mates on Tuesday morning as they trained ahead of Thursday's trip to Wales.
Assistant coach Brede Hangeland was quizzed for an update on Odegaard and he insists that the player was feeling slightly better: "Martin was in the breakfast room, he was happy and he had less pain in his ankle than yesterday.
"It's a long time until the next game, it's a full two and a half days. A lot can happen in that time. Martin will be allowed to do what he wants in training today with regard to his ankle, and I'm glad it's much better than yesterday."

Speaking on Sunday, Odegaard said of Silva's tackle: "It doesn't belong on a football pitch. It's a shame that people behave like that. It's a head fog from him. He just kicks me down long after I've played the ball away. I don't understand what he's doing."
The 27-year-old angrily confronted Silva on the pitch while a number of his team-mates also blasted the Real Madrid maestro during post-match interviews.
Defender Leo Ostigard said: "The challenge from Bernardo Silva came very late. From the video replay, the tackle was extremely ugly. I think a red card would have been fully justified.
"It's a really nasty one. It's just absolutely awful to do. That's the kind of thing we don't want to see happen to our captain. When it comes that long after the ball has gone, it looks pretty deliberate."

Meanwhile, Silva hit back as he left the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo on Sunday, telling reporters: "It's football, my friend."
Norway have two matches left to play before the return of club football and that includes a crunch trip to Portugal after Wales to face Jorge Jesus' side again.
The contest is likely to shape who tops Nations League Group D with Portugal currently top of the pile having also beaten Wales.
