Noni Madueke lined up for surprise Arsenal loan exit to European giants

Arsenal star Noni Madueke is drawing interest from around Europe after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium this season. Juventus and Atletico Madrid are both said to be monitoring the situation ahead of a January move.
The European giants are both reported to be considering a loan move for the 24-year-old England international, and could include an option to buy the player in any agreement, per CaughtOffside. No formal talks have taken place over a move, however.
Madueke still has four years remaining on his contract after signing for Arsenal in July 2025. The north London side splashed £48.5million to land the winger from Chelsea as he added depth to Arteta's squad ahead of a first Premier League title win in more than two decades.
The former PSV Eindhoven star is also said to have several Premier League sides monitoring his situation. Madueke has played just 23 minutes of football in the Premier League this term, with 22 of those coming in the opening match against Coventry City.
The winger did not get off the bench in the Gunners' 3-0 defeat against Brighton. Outside of the Premier League this term, Madueke scored against Ipswich in his only start of the season, and featured from the bench against Napoli.
Speaking last month, Madueke suggested he had accepted that he must fight for his place in Arteta's starting lineup, such is the competition at Arsenal. Madueke is behind Bukayo Saka in Arteta's thinking but is now facing a battle with teenage star Max Dowman as well.

"You know that you're fighting for places every week, on a game-to-game basis," Madueke said. "You know that you've got an amazing squad that has the ability to fight on all front.
"We've got a squad full of internationals, top players, and that's exactly what we need. It's a great club, a great environment and I was saying [to Ezri Konsa] before he signed, it's the best place that he could've chosen."
Madueke may be in line to start Arsenal's next match following the international break after Arteta's scathing review of his team's display. The winger will remain around the club after not being selected by Thomas Tuchel for England duty.
Arteta said: : "Brighton deserved to win the game. We didn't do the basics right for long periods, especially in the first half.
"We didn't win enough duels, and any second balls, and that stretches you. With the errors that we made, and especially with the principles we didn't apply against a team that wants to press you.
"So that puts us constantly under pressure and [we] didn't get out of that in the way we normally do. So a lot of things to learn and take, but ultimately disappointed."
