Mikel Arteta told four Arsenal players were just completely 'rattled' by Brighton
Arsenal produced one of their worst performances in years against Brighton and Hove Albion.
Everyone knew that the Seagulls were capable of giving Mikel Arteta’s side a few problems, but nobody expected them to batter Arsenal.
Fabian Hurzeler’s side were superior in every phase of play from start to finish, and they completely deserved their 3-0 win. In fact, it probably should’ve been five or six with the chances they had.
No Arsenal player deserves any praise for that performance this afternoon. Four of them have now been called out for how poor they were.

Arsenal had won each of their last three meetings against Brighton and were unbeaten in their last seven. But the Seagulls have always caused problems.
The Gunners must have known that going into the game at the Amex, but they just weren’t able to do anything about it. Hurzeler’s men were all over them.
This has rarely happened to Arsenal in recent years. Many of their senior players have consistently bailed them out when things have not gone their way.
However, no Arsenal player looked capable of doing anything, and Don Hutchison called out four of them for being rattled.
The pundit claimed that Declan Rice, along with the back three of Ezri Konsa, Gabriel Magalhaes and David Raya, were all shell-shocked by the home side.
He tweeted: “Arteta won’t like that loss at all today, but they come up against Brighton today that were far better. Brighton outworked them. Physically, Brighton won all of their individual and team duels.
“Konsa, Gabriel, Raya and Rice all rattled!”

Declan Rice was definitely rattled during Brighton vs Arsenal
Rice seemed to get more and more frustrated as the game went on.
The Englishman tried his best to get the team going, but he was visibly annoyed on more than one occasion when things didn’t go his way.
Right at the end of the game, Rice reacted angrily after Brighton substitute Malick Yalcouye nudged him. He turned around and appeared to kick him in retaliation.
It was clear to see that the Arsenal number 41 lost it for a second. Thankfully, the referee only gave him a yellow card instead of a red. It could easily have been the latter.
