Recent reports have claimed that Barcelona would like to bring him to the club one day, but the Spaniard will not have what he has at Arsenal there.

That is definitely true.
Arsenal have put a lot of faith in Arteta, promoted him from head coach to manager, and have given him the freedom to do almost anything he wants at the club.
The report claims that ‘nothing happens from a first-team perspective without his approval’ at the club.
That is never going to happen at Real Madrid or Barcelona, who are both run in a very different way compared to English clubs.
Yes, Arteta might still want to coach Barcelona one day, just like his mentor Pep Guardiola, but we’re sure he knows how privileged he is to be at Arsenal right now.
That is why he is close to finalising his new contract at the club, and we expect it to be announced in the not-too-distant future.
