Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has continued to regard Bergvall as an important part of his plans, despite the uncertainty that surrounded the player’s future earlier in the summer.
The Swedish midfielder has made limited Premier League appearances this season, registering just 72 minutes of top-flight action, though he did complete the full match during Tottenham’s 3-1 Carabao Cup defeat to Liverpool.
