How long Christos Tzolis could be out for after Arsenal star suffers injury

Arsenal’s luck with injuries has not improved.
International breaks always raise anxiety levels because of potential injuries, and that was once again the case at the start of this three-week break.
Kai Havertz suffered an injury while playing for Germany, which is a humongous blow for Arsenal if he ends up spending a spell on the sidelines.
Christos Tzolis may have now joined that list.
Christos Tzolis injury timeline estimate
Tzolis started for Greece against the Netherlands in the Nations League on Thursday night.
The Greek international began well and even found the net after cutting in from the left wing. But unfortunately, the goal was ruled out for offside.
Just a few moments later, Tzolis went down with what looked like a hamstring injury. The medical staff assessed him and then made a decision to take him off the pitch.
Arsenal fans have been worried sick since, as Tzolis is their only natural left winger. Losing him for a period of time could have a very negative impact on Mikel Arteta’s side.
Greek football journalist Eva Bellou has confirmed that the winger’s problem is indeed his hamstring, and the extent of his injury will only be confirmed after a scan on Friday.
But an estimate of how long he could be out for, depending on the type of his injury, has been revealed.
Bellou tweeted: “The problem is with his hamstring. If it’s only a minor pull, he could be out for around 1–3 weeks. If it’s a Grade 2 muscle tear, the absence could be around 3–6 weeks.
“Tomorrow’s (Friday’s) assessment will provide a clearer picture.”

Arsenal’s summer transfer gamble could come back to haunt them
Arsenal signed Tzolis from Club Brugge in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners had to reinforce their attack, especially after the sale of Leandro Trossard to Besiktas, and the Greek international became the chosen one. However, Gabriel Martinelli was sold too, and he wasn’t replaced.
We told you Arsenal were making a big mistake not signing a new left winger in the final days of the transfer window, and that could now prove to be true.
If Tzolis is ruled out for a considerable period of time, Arteta will be forced to deploy Eberechi Eze or Noni Madueke on the left flank. Neither player is completely comfortable there.
That could really hurt Arsenal in the coming games after the international break.
