Hincapie, Timber, White - Arsenal injury news and return dates after new Mikel Arteta blow

Arsenal booked their place in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with a 4-2 win at Ipswich Town on Tuesday night. Max Dowman scored twice, while Noni Madueke and Mikel Merino were also on target for the Gunners.
However, ahead of the game at Portman Road, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta insisted Jurrien Timber has not suffered an injury setback after he was left out of his squad for the game. Arteta also revealed that he had opted to rest David Raya and Declan Rice.

Timber has been expected to feature against Gary O’Neil’s side after coming on at half-time against Sunderland on Saturday night.
However, he was excluded from Arteta’s squad for the game, but the Gunners boss confirmed ahead of kick-off that his absence was planned.
What Arteta said: “No (he has not suffered a setback), everything is fine. He has played much more than we wanted. The other day he had 53 minutes after five months out. We need to look after him.”
Potential return date: September 19, Brighton & Hove Albion (A).
The defender missed the win over Ipswich due to a muscular injury.
Asked for an update ahead of the game, Arteta said: “With some players, they were carrying some fatigue, some real issues we have to look after. Other players are available, fresh and in better condition to play.”

The England international was another who missed the win at Portman Road after being replaced by Timber during the 2-0 victory over Sunderland due to a groin issue.
The defender was also absent from Arteta’s squad for the win over Ipswich, despite the Spaniard claiming he could return for the game.
Speaking before the game in East Anglia, Arteta said: “He’s doing really well. Let’s see if he can get [back] for this game, it will be around that time.”

The France international has not kicked a ball this season as he continues his rehabilitation from a back injury sustained at the World Cup.
Before the win over Sunderland, Arteta said: "We don’t really know the amount of weeks Wilo [Saliba] is going to be out because it’s about a healing process and everything is a bit different - we know we have to respect certain timings.
"The progression has been really positive in the last few weeks, but we need to wait and see how that one reacts when we start to put some load into it.”
