Fresh update emerges on Arsenal-linked Premier League forward likened to Michael Owen

Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the situation of Brentford forward Kevin Schade.
Schade has less than two years left on his contract and has enjoyed a good start to the season, scoring three goals in five Premier League matches.
He featured in Germany’s first two games under new head coach Jurgen Klopp, underscoring his impressive form.
The BBC now report that the 24-year-old is open to extending his stay at Brentford after opening new contract talks with the west London side.
Talks over a new contract are still in the early stages and are not expected to progress rapidly.
Arsenal’s interest in Schade could be agent driven
Arsenal wanted to sign two left wingers last summer following the departures of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.
They were only able to secure the services of Christos Tzolis. This could explain reports linking Arsenal with a move for Schade.
However, those reports could also be agent-driven, to put pressure on Brentford to offer the Germany international a lucrative new contract.
The north London side were linked with Schade last summer, but made no formal approach, suggesting they may not have a firm interest in him.
The Freiburg academy graduate, who has been likened to former Liverpool striker Michael Owen by the Bundesliga website, is fast, powerful and posseses a strong aerial ability.
However, Schade has not been consistent enough to be an ideal fit for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Arsenal are likely to stick with Tzolis, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke as their left-wing options for now, but may reassess their options in January or next summer.
