Forward linked with Arsenal and Chelsea urged to rectify transfer mistake next year

Real Madrid attacker Endrick has been instructed to leave the club as Arsenal and Chelsea reportedly circle his signature. The young Brazilian forward is struggling to break through with Los Blancos and could be lined up for a Premier League transfer next year.
There were high hopes for Endrick, 20, to hit new heights in Madrid this term after a successful loan at Lyon last season. The 21-cap Brazil international scored eight goals and grabbed another eight assists in just 21 games for the French side, but remains sidelined under Jose Mourinho.
After receiving just four minutes of game time from 'The Special One' so far this campaign, it appears another exit is likely for Endrick. And former Real playmaker Rodrigo Fabri has used his own experience at the Bernabeu in telling Endrick to abort.
"Signing for Real Madrid was a mistake," he told Mundo Deportivo. "I would tell Endrick that the best thing for him is to move to another club where he can play and develop as a footballer...
"I see that he is barely featuring. He is very young, is considered a cornerstone of the Brazilian national team's rebuilding process, and has talent.

"I would tell him that if he isn't getting many opportunities, which is currently the case, the best thing to do is move to another team where he can play and develop as a footballer."
Fabri was 22 when he arrived at Real from Brazil in 1998 despite a swell of interest from other European admirers. However, he failed to make a single senior appearance for the club in five years before joining rivals Atletico Madrid in 2003.
Endrick's situation isn't quite so severe considering he's at least featured for Real in past seasons, scoring seven times in 41 games to date. However, either Arsenal or Chelsea could be prepared to accommodate his talents if he became available.

Although naturally a striker, Endrick has also enjoyed good returns on the right wing in the past. Links this past summer emerged just as the Gunners were reportedly eyeing a replacement striker, something Chelsea are also supposedly considering next year.
The Blues have signed veteran attacker Danny Welbeck to provide experience in attack, though Xabi Alonso may need to replace the player next year. According to Fabri, what glitters doesn't always turn out to be gold, given his Real career panned out so poorly.
"I arrived in Spain full of enthusiasm but nothing went right," he added. "Roma and Deportivo La Coruna, who were in great form at the time, also wanted to sign me, but I chose Madrid because of its history and stature.
"In hindsight, it’s clear that my choice was a mistake, but at the time, I was convinced I was making the right decision. I think that in Italy or in Galicia, I would have played regularly and established myself, but my path took a different turn."
