Fabian Hurzeler says Arsenal have a player who is just ‘unbelievable’ physically

To put it bluntly, Brighton thrashed Arsenal at the weekend – winning 3-0 against the reigning Premier League champions.
The result came as a serious shock to the system. Arsenal had been punch perfect up until that point and hadn’t been beaten so heavily for a few years.
Interestingly, despite Brighton’s impressive win, Fabian Hurzeler has now gone on the record to praise one of the Gunners’ players.
Indeed, speaking to TalkSPORT, the German was asked to describe some of world football’s leading figures, and he gave an interesting description of Declan Rice when asked about the midfielder.
Fabian Hurzeler says Declan Rice is ‘unbelievable’
Hurzeler was asked to describe what he thinks of Declan Rice as a player.
Rice has been at the centre of a bit of controversy around Brighton in recent years. Rice was sent off against the Seagulls a couple of seasons ago for kicking the ball away, while Rice could’ve been red carded at the weekend for kicking out at an opponent.

“Declan Rice?” Hurzeler was asked..
“Unbelievable physicality. Again I also think a really really good understanding of the game, England are lucky to have such a good player,” Hurzeler said.
Declan Rice’s stats vs Brighton analysed
Hurzeler may be a fan of Rice, but after seeing him first-hand at the weekend he may not have been too impressed.
Indeed, while Rice is usually a very consistent performer in the midfield for Arsenal, the game against Brighton wasn’t his finest hour, as the stats show.
Rice was a bit of a non-factor in this game, he didn’t create much, he was hardly a defensive force, and he literally didn’t win anything in the air.
As Hurzeler says, Rice is usually fantastic in the midfield for Arsenal, but against Brighton, he had an off day, that’s for sure.
