Arsenal remains in talks to sign their Alvarez plan B

Victor Osimhen is Arsenal’s main alternative to Julian Alvarez in this transfer window, and the Gunners continue to speak to the Galatasaray striker about a potential move.

They began the summer keen to improve their attack and wanted to sign Alvarez, a target they still want, but Atletico Madrid remain steadfast in their decision that he is not for sale.

The Gunners continue to hope there will be an opening for Alvarez to join their squad and have been working as hard as they can to convince him to leave Spain and move to London.

Osimhen Remains Arsenal Target

Arsenal want a top striker, and if Alvarez cannot join them, Osimhen could become the player who arrives at the club. The Nigerian has been on their radar for a long time, making him a familiar alternative if their pursuit of Alvarez fails.

The Gunners have pursued a move for Osimhen since his time at Napoli, and Sport Witness says they have maintained contact over signing him this summer.

They see him as an ideal player to add to their squad and believe that the Nigerian would perform well at the Emirates if he arrives in place of Alvarez.

Osimhen’s previous experience and reputation have kept him high on Arsenal’s list of attacking targets. The Gunners are looking for a striker who can make a significant difference to their squad, and they believe the Galatasaray forward could provide that impact.

Galatasaray Must Agree to Deal
