Manager says attacker Arsenal want to sign is ‘special’ just like Erling Haaland

Arsenal want to make an attacking signing in the final days of the transfer window.
The Gunners have been eyeing up a few forwards this summer as they look to bolster their attack.
Vinicius Jr was an Arsenal target earlier this summer, while Mikel Arteta is a known admirer of Julian Alvarez.
Eli Junior Kroupi from Bournemouth is another Arsenal target, and speaking to Stadium Astro, Bournemouth boss, Marco Rose, has shared just how good he thinks the young Frenchman is.
Rose has managed superstars such as Erling Haaland and Jude Bellingham, and according to the German, Kroupi is in that same bracket of ‘special’ player.
Marco Rose says Eli Junior Kroupi is ‘special’
Rose was asked about Kroupi after sharing his experiences of managing the likes of Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland.
The Cherries manager says that even though he’s only worked with Kroupi for a short time, he can tell he’s already in that ‘special’ calibre of players.
“Well, having coached so many top players, I know you only spent a short time with him so far because of his injury. Would you put Junior Kroupi in that group of special players?” Rose was asked.
“Yes, he is for sure he is a special player even I had him just for some days so far because he unfortunately he got injured,” Rose said.
“But even in this in these days you could see the way he is moving, the way he touched the ball, the way he understands the game and the way he reads the game and and feels spaces is really special.”
Junior Kroupi’s incredible debut season
Rose says Kroupi is a special player, and we certainly saw that last year.
At the age of just 19 last term, the young striker managed to make his mark on the Premier League.
Kroupi scored 13 league goals last term despite only starting 21 games.
This young man looks destined for the very top, and if it weren’t for an untimely injury, perhaps he would be in an Arsenal kit this season.
Who knows? Perhaps Kroupi to Arsenal is one that could be revisited in the January transfer window.
