Ezri Konsa fitness update as 'Morgan Rogers axed' in England team news leak

Ezri Konsa is set to start for England against Croatia in the Nations League on Saturday evening, calming Arsenal fan concerns over the centre-half's fitness.
Konsa was one of a number of players who missed England's midweek encounter with Czechia due to a minor issue, as fans started to speculate on his fitness with a Premier League return on the horizon.
However, it has now been leaked that the 28-year-old will start under Thomas Tuchel for Saturday's clash at Stadion HNK Rijeka, according to The Sun. The same can't be said for Morgan Rogers, however.
While the Chelsea talent is thought to be fully fit and available for selection, the Sun claim that Jude Bellingham will start through the middle and Anthony Gordon will feature on the left wing, as Tuchel looks to field his strongest side for the penultimate Nations League clash of the break.
As a result of Konsa's return, Trevoh Chalobah - who featured for the duration of the Three Lions' 2-0 win over Czechia on Tuesday - has also been demoted to the bench once more, with Marc Guehi set to join the Arsenal star at centre-half.
Jarell Quansah will also take up post at right-back, with Trent Alexander-Arnold once again forced to sit on the sidelines, while Jordan Pickford will feature in goal for the first time this campaign ahead of James Trafford.

It has been a mixed-bag tournament for England thus far, with the Three Lions sitting second in the Group C standings behind table toppers Spain after two matches.
England slipped to a 3-2 loss to the world champions at Wembley in their Nations League opener, thanks to efforts from Lamine Yamal, Alex Baena and Mikel Oyarzabal cancelling out goals from Gordon and Harry Kane.
Tuchel's men learned from their mistakes in their following clash with a 10-man Czechia on Tuesday. Gordon and Kane once again found the back of the net following Pavel Sulc's sending-off in the 25th minute.

All eyes will be on Saturday's clash in Croatia to see if England can build much-needed momentum midway through as they approach the closing stages of the break, with the action getting underway at 5pm.
England then round off their opening Nations League stint with a reverse with Czechia at Wembley on Tuesday, October 6, at 7.45pm.
The Premier League then makes its grand return on Saturday, October 10, where Arsenal will take on Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium in the 12.30pm kick-off, before Chelsea do battle with Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge at 3pm.
