Confirmed: Arsenal goalkeeper Tommy Setford joins Stevenage on loan

Arsenal goalkeeper Tommy Setford has joined Stevenage on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old had been linked with a loan move to Las Palmas but will now head to League One instead.

Part of the first-team squad at Arsenal, Setford joined the club from Ajax in 2024.

He has made two competitive senior appearances for the Gunners so far – starting against Preston in the Carabao Cup in 2024 before featuring as a late substitute against Wigan in the FA Cup last season.

The England U21 international has also featured for Arsenal at youth level but is in need of experience of senior football.
