Defender missing, Dowman hint - Four things spotted in Arsenal training amid injury worry

Arsenal are in fine spirits amid a perfect start to the new season. Mikel Arteta's side have won every game - conceding just once in four matches against Coventry City, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Napoli and Sunderland.
The Gunners sit joint-top of the Premier League table and will be confident of retaining their top-flight title. Arsenal's next assignment comes in the Carabao Cup, with a visit to newly promoted Ipswich Town on Tuesday night (8pm).
Arteta's men will be looking to go one further than last season when they lost to Manchester City at Wembley Stadium. That defeat was followed months later by a first league title in 22 years, and the Gunners have not looked back since.
With all that said, below is a look at the latest Arsenal training session ahead of Arsenal's midweek trip to the Tractor Boys...

Defender Ben White was absent from the latest training pictures amid an injury concern. The Englishman appeared to suffer a groin injury during Arsenal's clash against Sunderland.
The Gunners defender was spotted grimacing while holding his crutch towards the end of the first half, and he was subsequently replaced by Jurrien Timber. His absence in Monday's training session will worry Arsenal fans.

Speculation is rife over whether Arsenal teenager Max Dowman will start against Ipswich. The expectation is that Arteta will rotate after a busy start to the new season.
That could open the door for Dowman,16, to earn a starting berth. The youngster only played an hour for the under-21s this weekend and was included in several training pictures on Monday.

Guimaraes has enjoyed an excellent start at Arsenal. The Brazilian played a key role in Saturday's win at Sunderland, something he will have enjoyed after arriving from the Black Cats' bitter rivals Newcastle United.
The 28-year-old was seen working hard in the Gunners' latest training sesson - eventhough Arteta is likely to rest him against Ipswich.

Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze were all smiles on Monday and it's easy to see why. Saka has begun the season well with three goals in the Premier League already.
Eze, meanwhile, has not had quite the same impact with three appearances off the bench so far. However, the midfielder could very well make his first domestic start against Ipswich.

Arsenal travel to Brighton on Saturday after facing Ipswich. The Gunners then do not return to action until they host Leeds after the international break on October 10.
