Baum starts for Arsenal against Brighton, Stanway, Batlle and Misa make their debuts

Lisa Baum starts on the right wing for Arsenal against Brighton as the Gunners launch their WSL campaign at midday. Ona Batlle, Georgia Stanway and Misa Rodriguez make their full club debuts too.

Misa starts in goal ahead of a back four of Fox, Williamson, Catley and Batlle. Stanway and Kim Little are in the double pivot with Mariona ahead of them. Lisa Baum and Olivia Smith start either side of Alessia Russo upfront.

There is no space in the matchday squad for summer signings Geraldine Reuteler and Selina Cerci, both of whom missed parts of pre-season with injuries.
