The real reason why Bruno Guimaraes missed training ahead of Arsenal vs Chelsea

Bruno Guimaraes missed a training session ahead of Arsenal’s game against Chelsea.
The Gunners had torrid luck with injuries last season, but somehow, Mikel Arteta managed to lead his side to the Premier League title.
There was a host of changes in the medical department in the summer, presumably to make sure such injury issues don’t occur again.
However, Cristhian Mosquera seems to be out of action following his injury against Aston Villa, while Guimaraes has suddenly emerged as a doubt after missing training.
There is now some good news about the latter.
Why Bruno Guimaraes missed Arsenal training
Arsenal signed Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United in the summer in a £75 million deal.
The Brazilian impressed in the one pre-season game he played before starring in the Community Shield win against Manchester City as well.
In that game, Guimaraes suffered a groin issue that forced him out of the Premier League opener against Coventry City.
The midfielder was available for the clash against Aston Villa and even came on for the last 20 minutes of that game. He was really good too.
However, Arsenal fans were alarmed to learn that Guimaraes missed training on Thursday ahead of the clash against Chelsea.

Luckily, Football London have some good news.
The report claims that Arsenal are just carefully managing Guimaraes’ load following the groin issue he picked up in the Community Shield.
That suggests the medical department is simply being cautious rather than dealing with a fresh injury.
The game against Chelsea is still three days away, so we expect Guimaraes to train before that and be available for the game.
It remains to be seen whether he starts.
