Another Arsenal player could soon receive the Gabriel Martinelli treatment if he doesn't step up

Gabriel Martinelli has been in the news a lot in recent days.
The Brazilian has been one of Arsenal’s key players since Mikel Arteta took charge of the club, but since the Community Shield, things have changed.
Martinelli was left out of the squad against Manchester City in the Community Shield as well as in the Premier League opener against Coventry on Friday night.
Arsenal fans are furious with how Martinelli is being treated, while club legend Ian Wright has also jumped to Martinelli’s defence.
However, the Gunners seem to be pushing him out of the club in this window, and in a few months, another player could suffer the same fate.
Noni Madueke risks facing the Gabriel Martinelli treatment at Arsenal
Arsenal have been very patient with Gabriel Martinelli in recent years.
The former Ituano man was brilliant in the 2022/23 season, but since then, he just hasn’t reached the required heights in the Premier League.
Martinelli’s Arsenal career seems to be as good as done now, and that should act as a huge wake-up call for Noni Madueke.
The Englishman is only in his second season at Arsenal, but his performances have been nowhere near good enough.

In fact, many Arsenal fans would rather have Martinelli included in the squad over Madueke because of how poor he has been.
Bukayo Saka is the undisputed first choice on the right wing, so the former Chelsea man is always only going to be a backup.
However, the problem for Madueke is that Max Dowman is already outperforming him in the same position, and it won’t be long before he makes that second-choice spot his own.
The only way for Madueke to stop that is by stepping up his game big-time every time he gets an opportunity in the coming weeks.
If he doesn’t, we are convinced he will be put up for sale next summer, irrespective of whether he wants to be sold or not.
