Confirmed: New Arsenal signing Axel Donczew given number 80 shirt

Arsenal have confirmed that new signing Axel Donczew has been allocated the number 80 shirt.
The squad number 80 was initially given to Marli Salmon in the early stages of pre-season but the defender switched to 89, which he wore last season.
Donczew, a Wales youth international who signed from Cardiff City, could be set for an eventful first season at Arsenal.
The youngster, mainly a left winger who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, is eligible to feature at U21, U19 and U18 levels.
Donczew trained with the U21 squad this week, which indicates that he could soon feature for David Horseman’s team.
Meanwhile, defender Callan Hamill is back in training with the U21s after missing the start of the season due to injury.
Hamill, who can play at right-back or centre-back, could be a useful option at various youth levels.
First year scholar Emerson Nwaneri, 16, also trained with the U21 squad this week. The youngster is set to be suspended when the U18s face Southampton tomorrow having been sent off last time out.
