Bournemouth wants up to £100 million for Arsenal target

Alex Scott is one of the most wanted players in the Premier League at the moment, with Arsenal keen to add him to their squad despite missing out on the midfielder during the summer transfer window.
Bournemouth insisted that Scott was not for sale, allowing the Cherries to keep the midfielder for another season. He has continued to demonstrate why several clubs were interested in signing him after his impressive form last term.
Arsenal tried to bring him to the Emirates, while Liverpool were also looking to add him to their squad. However, both clubs failed to secure his signature during the summer.
Bournemouth face a decision
Bournemouth continued to view Scott as too important to sell during that window, but the situation could change at the end of the current term. The midfielder has rejected a new contract from the club, potentially making his future an important issue for Bournemouth.
The Cherries could therefore consider selling Scott in the future, although they may also change their position by the summer of 2027. Any decision to part ways with the midfielder would depend on the club’s valuation and the interest from potential suitors.
For Arsenal, their previous interest suggests that Scott remains a player they could consider pursuing again. However, securing his signature could require a significant financial commitment.

Scott carries a huge valuation
According to Fichajes, Scott is valued at £100 million, with Bournemouth reportedly wanting that fee if Arsenal decide to make another attempt to sign him.
Arsenal were willing to spend heavily on the midfielder during the summer, but it remains unclear whether they were prepared to go as high as £100 million to add him to their squad. The club would also need to determine whether Bournemouth would be willing to lower their asking price.
Scott’s continued performances for Bournemouth will likely keep him on the radar of clubs looking to strengthen their midfield. Arsenal have already shown interest in the player, while Liverpool have also been linked with a move.
For now, Bournemouth have retained Scott, but his contract situation and the reported valuation could shape his future. Arsenal may have another opportunity to pursue the midfielder, although any potential deal would depend on the asking price and the player’s situation at the end of the season.
