Bournemouth decide how much they want for Eli Junior Kroupi as Arsenal eye January move

Arsenal have once again been linked with a move to sign Eli Junior Kroupi.

The Frenchman was a wanted man in the summer transfer window after a stunning season at Bournemouth, but an untimely injury ruined his chances of a move.

Arsenal probably would’ve signed Kroupi if it weren’t for his injury, according to a few reports in the summer, and their interest has not gone away.

Andrea Berta is keeping an eye on the Cherries attacker for the January transfer window.

Bournemouth set asking price for Arsenal target Eli Junior Kroupi

Eli Junior Kroupi is still injured at the moment.

The French attacker is expected to be back at the end of October, and if he can hit the ground running, he will become one of the most sought-after players in the Premier League in January.

Arsenal are keeping an eye on Kevin Schade as well as Kroupi, and we won’t be surprised at all if they make a move for one of them in the winter window.

However, if TeamTalk are to be believed, the latter will cost an absolute fortune.

The report claims that Bournemouth have slapped a £100 million price tag on their star attacker, which would make him their most expensive sale ever.

The same asking price has been set for Alex Scott and Rayan, who are also expected to attract interest from bigger clubs in 2027.

Arsenal were willing to smash their transfer record on players like Julian Alvarez and Vinicius Jr in the summer transfer window.

It now remains to be seen if they will be prepared to go as high as £100 million to sign Kroupi in January.

Eli Junior Kroupi is exactly what Arsenal need

Arsenal have been thriving with Kai Havertz as their main striker, but Viktor Gyokeres has struggled every time he has played this season.

That’s because a free-flowing false nine or a second striker suits Mikel Arteta’s system much more than an old-school number nine.

Kroupi is exactly that, and his ability to drop into the pockets, make space for other players and also score stunning goals from distance makes him an incredibly good fit for this side.

Arsenal definitely need a new attacker in the January transfer window, and we think Kroupi is the most obvious signing the Gunners can make.
