Borussia Dortmund manager has something to say about Ethan Nwaneri after two games
Ethan Nwaneri has had a good start to life at Borussia Dortmund following his loan move from Arsenal.
Mikel Arteta could not guarantee regular game time for the academy graduate, even though he impressed during pre-season.
After a lot of speculation, Arsenal decided to loan out Nwaneri instead of selling him, and they have found the perfect club in Borussia Dortmund for him.
Early signs have been really positive.

Ethan Nwaneri has only played two games for Borussia Dortmund so far, but he has already made an impact.
Unusually, both of his appearances came as a first-half substitute after injuries.
On his debut against Hoffenheim, Nwaneri’s cross from the left side of the box deflected and found the back of the net. That goal proved to be the winner.
Then, in the Champions League against Villarreal, Nwaneri was one of the best players on the pitch and was really unlucky not to score.
Dortmund fans are loving the Arsenal youngster, and it looks like their manager, Niko Kovac, is very impressed too.
He said, as per Fussball Transfers: “He has already shown in his two appearances that he can help us. I am very, very pleased with him. He will be very important for us in the coming weeks and months.
“He has integrated brilliantly. He is a great guy – very calm, down-to-earth, friendly, and helpful – and a very good footballer.”
Players like Nwaneri need their managers to put full faith in them.
When Roberto De Zerbi left Marseille and was replaced by Habib Beye, it was clear that the latter didn’t trust Nwaneri, which is why he didn’t play much.
Kovac seems to be the complete opposite, and that is excellent news – not just for the teenager but also for Arsenal.
Dortmund have no option to sign Nwaneri on a permanent deal, which means he will be back at the Emirates at the end of this season.
A good loan spell will increase his value significantly, and Arsenal can then decide whether to integrate him into the squad or cash in on him.
We hope it’s the former because Nwaneri has all the traits to become a superstar.
