“A lot of positive things” Arteta reacts to Arsenal winning the Community Shield
Mikel Arteta was delighted with Arsenal’s performance as they beat Manchester City 3-0 to win the Community Shield and provide an early indication that they are ready for the new season. The Gunners entered the match with plenty of confidence after preparing thoroughly, and they were determined to produce a positive result.
Arsenal made the perfect start by opening the scoring within seconds of the match, before adding two more goals by the final whistle. The convincing victory gave Arteta and his players an ideal way to begin the campaign.
Arteta Praises Arsenal Performance
There was plenty for Arteta to be pleased with after Arsenal produced such a strong display against a top opponent. The result also gave the Gunners their first trophy of the season and encouraged them ahead of a demanding campaign.
Arteta will now expect his players to carry that performance into the new season as they look to defend the league crown they won in the summer. The Community Shield victory has given them an early boost and could provide further confidence before their competitive campaign continues.

The manager’s comments reflect his satisfaction with both the performance and the attitude shown by his players. Arsenal displayed the determination Arteta wanted to see, while the three-goal victory provided a strong statement before the new season.
The challenge now is to maintain that level when the campaign begins. Arsenal have already shown that they are prepared, but they must reproduce the same intensity and quality across the competitions ahead.
