The fee Atletico Madrid directors told Arsenal they’ll accept for Julian Alvarez in face to face meet

Julian Alvarez is continuing to be linked with a move to Arsenal as we approach the final week of the transfer window.
With Gabriel Martinelli seemingly out of the door at The Emirates, Mikel Arteta is trying to ensure he adds another forward to the mix.
Alvarez is the name everyone is talking about and while he prefers a move to Barcelona, that deal may well never materialise.
For Arsenal, they remain on red alert in case Alvarez decides he fancies the move back to England.
And according to reports, Atletico have told Arsenal directly what sort of figure they’ll accept.

Atletico Madrid tell Arsenal exactly what they want for Julian Alvarez
The Gunners have not been shy of splashing the cash in recent years and the potential deal for Vinicius Jr showed that money was available.
Now, according to Sami Mokbel of the BBC, Atletico have indeed met with Arsenal negotiators in person and named their price.
According to Mokbel, Atletico have quoted Arsenal a price of around £128m to sign Alvarez, giving the Spanish side a profit on the huge sum they forked out for the forward in the first place.
It’s suggested that Arsenal would have no issue in getting to that figure and a lot of this depends on if Alvarez is willing to join.
As it stands, the Argentinian wants to stay in Spain and move to Barcelona.
However, the Catalan club may not be able to fund such a deal and after being booed at the weekend by his own fans, Alvarez’s hand might be forced.
Arsenal will sit and wait but with a week to go, you feel we’ve not heard the last of this one.
