Arsenal teenager set to follow Ethan Nwaneri’s lead with fast-track England call
Arsenal are producing some of the best young talent in the country right now and England are taking notice.
The Gunners have a rich history of both developing and bringing on young players, with Bukayo Saka the most obvious example of that in recent years.
Other big names like Emile Smith Rowe, Folarin Balogun and Eddie Nketiah have all been sold for big money as well.
Of course, one of the current crop of exciting talents is Ethan Nwaneri. Currently on loan at Dortmund, Nwaneri has a huge future at The Emirates.
And after featuring as part of England’s World Cup training squad, another Arsenal youngster looks set to follow Nwaneri’s lead.
Max Dowman could get England call-up after injury problems for Thomas Tuchel
Alongside Nwaneri, Max Dowman is very much the big hope at Arsenal.
Dowman has not been allowed on loan this summer and instead, is right among the first-team picture, scoring already in the cup against Ipswich.
Now, The Sun reports that Dowman is in line for a call by Thomas Tuchel to join England’s squad.
The Three Lions are preparing for four big fixtures over the next three weeks and Tuchel is expected to consider giving Dowman the nod after losing five of his original call-ups.

The likes of Cole Palmer, Marcus Rashford and Kobbie Mainoo are among the drop outs, while Arsenal teammate Declan Rice has also stepped away.
Dowman, of course, would relish the chance of getting the call to the full squad.
He’s currently in and around the squad anyway at St George’s Park preparing for the England under-19 fixtures.
Quite whether Tuchel goes as far as including Dowman in the matchday squad, remains to be seen.
