Arsenal seem to have identified their long-term Martin Odegaard replacement

Arsenal are currently being led by the brilliant Martin Odegaard but looking to the future, it appears a long-term replacement has been identified.
Odegaard has stepped things up to another level it seems this season and looks to once again be Arsenal’s key dictator.
However, while Odegaard is still only 27, the Gunners are always looking to the future.
Now, it appears that Arsenal have their eye on one of Europe’s most promising number tens.
Arsenal looking at Nico Paz as he impresses under Cesc Fabregas
Arsenal have shown in recent years they have their eyes on some of the best around and right now, Nico Paz is forging quite the path for himself.
Playing under Cesc Fabregas at FC Como, Paz has become the key cog in the machine as the Italian minnows impress both domestically and in Europe.
Last season saw Paz contribute an impressive 12 goals and six assists as Como marched towards the Champions League places.
However, there could be a blocker on any idea Arsenal have of signing Paz.
Reports suggesting the Gunners are keen also note that it is Real Madrid who have first refusal on re-signing Paz if they wish, a deal which would cost the Spanish side around £68m.

Nevertheless, Arsenal are clearly showing they have an eye on the future. With Paz just 22-years-old, there is a perfect scenario where he comes to The Emirates and even has time to work with and learn from Odegaard himself.
For now, Odegaard will continue as Arsenal’s main man.
But with one eye on the future, it’s exciting to suggest that Nico Paz becomes an Arsenal player.
